If I don't want to rent my property do I need a property manager?
We believe it is important to hire a professional property manager in order to protect your financial investment. Many laws in the Dominican Republic require the assistance of a local manager for the protection of your financial assets. Squatters could build a structure on your raw land or take up residency in a property that is not monitored or inspected on a frequent basis. We offer a basic management plan that provides peace of mind that your financial investment is being protected.
Do I need to sign a contact for your property management services?
Our contact is written to be an annual commitment for both parties however a cancellation clause is provided should unforeseen circumstances arise.
My real estate agent offers property management services. Why shouldn't I use them?
We believe a professional property manager is better suited to handle your financial investment. Most real estate agents provide this service on a part-time basis and generally limited to renting your property whereas a property management service can help with repairs, cleaning, personalized service, etc. A professional property manager offers a dedicated team to meet your special service needs 24/7.
Can you review my property to assess its marketability?
Yes, we can provide a no obligation review of your property to assess its marketability. We will provide you a written quote and make recommendations, as needed, on minor repairs or enhancements that would add value to your property and increase your return on investment.
What if I sell my property?
Our contract is designed to be transferable to the new owner or can be terminated with a reasonable notice period.
If I rent a property can I bring a pet?
We do not recommend bringing your pet due to potential issues with Dominican Republic quarantine laws, airline restrictions at certain times of the year and the fact that many property owners request no pets in their property.
Can you arrange special services such as personal chefs, nanny's, etc.?
Yes, we can assist in providing special services with appropriate advance notice. There is a small additional charge for these services. Contact us with your specific request and we will provide a quote on the cost.
Can you arrange transportation from the airport?
Yes, we can either make arrangements for your pick-up or provide information on bus, taxi or rental car availability from the Puerto Plata International Airport.
